It just feels right. I’m used to manual everything (shifters, levers, and lockers) and no traction control. And that mode works the best IMO. I haven’t had the truck in any real rocks to give the rock crawl mode a real go, yet. -

I’d be buying a 4xe grand Cherokee or wrangler if I had to replace the LR4 tomorrow. They make so much sense, my commute would be close to 100% electric. -

x2 I've only heard that people are not a fan of the ride. They're Bilstein 4600 (yellow) shocks. -
LR4 Diff & TCase lifespan
that sucks, but unfortunately there's always outliers. The case and diffs are the same across LR3, 4, L322 RRS, Disco 5, D90 and 110. I know the tcase is the same on the L320 as well, not sure about the 405 and new range rovers. -

They're Dana diffs and a Magna-Steyr transfer case. You don't need to worry about them. -
Wheel/Tire combinations
Ditch the 19s for any 18" LR3 wheel. The best option for 19s are 255/60-19 Toyo AT3s. -

the 275/65 tires are going to rub regardless, either at stock ride height or under compression when you are off road. so you'll need to trim some plastic, and move the rear AC lines a little. you can use the GAP tool and program some lift in (.75-1" should be all you need) so you dont have to... -

I just added coolant for the second time in almost 20k miles. Both times it was 1/2-3/4" below the cold fill line. -

Water pump nipple
I wouldn't mix brass and the OAT/HOAT coolants. One fitting is probably fine, but the new coolants can react negatively with them IIRC. -

Purge valve and DTML pump fixed it in my truck. I could barely get fuel in. Make sure you blow some air through the charcoal canister before you put the new pump on, too. -
