i don't think anything would beat stock OEM struts honestly. They do age after about 10 years naturally. -
2010 LR4 HSE Luke warm heat on driver side
Sounds like a blend door issue….honestly when using the heat you should be using the feet setting anyways. Heat rises. Plus the constant dry heat in your face isn’t good for your eye lubrication. I’m not 100% sure though. -
Oil level sensor leaking
Put jb weld all over it lol. Not worth the fix. Oil level sensor sucks at giving an accurate reading of the oil anyways. -

I personally would go for it AFTER the repairs are done and the truck is running. Who messes up a timing chain repair? :oops::oops:.......they'd know in a quick second anyways. -

Rules of Thumb Maintenance Guide
alignment every 2 years or so....these trucks go out of alignment fairly quickly...unless it's just mine. -

well, after 12k and all those repairs you should be good for another 100k miles until another huge 12k bill hits you again. These trucks are like that....cheap to maintain for a while, until everything hits you at once one day. -
Tail light (aftermarket)
yeah for like 15 mins or so they do that once the truck is "awaken", for example just turning off the rover or unlocking it to grab something inside. Even pulling on a locked door handle will wake the truck up and you'll see the faint tailight. -

sorry i'm now noticing this. I just removed everything but the cats underneath. I did add two magnaflow mufflers and an X pipe and straight piped with 3inch pipes to dual black gloss tips. It sounds amazing in my opinion. -
Gasoline to use
Please….spend the extra 20-30 cents a gallon and fill your rover up with 93. If you’re going to be cheap about it and try and save the $6 or 0.30cent extra@20 gallons…please get a honda pilot. I mean in a pinch if you’re desperate, 87 octane won’t **** it. You’ll get less horsepower and engine... -

Dude…i had the same exact issue as you. Actually we all have. Eventually there will be a day where cycling the car on and off will not make the hatch open. I nursed mine along that way for 2 years until it quit on me and it was a b*t*ch to get it to open to replace the actuator. And if it does... -
Max towing -- 2012 V8
I’ve pulled double that weight for a very very short distance without any braking or inclines. The LR4 pulled it easily lol. I was too scared to go any further and tow normally. Not worth messing the diff and ****** up. -
The curious case of the missing LR4 Antenna
Hoping its the same as this install. I find it appalling that LR would require headliner removal from the inside just to replace that antenna. -
Check Engine Light and Fault Codes
I've had those two exact codes in the past. Clean your MAF sensors with maf cleaner. That's probably it. If it comes back then your sensor/sensors are failing. I think it trips for both banks, even if its just one thats dirty/defective. -

Yes there are different headlights depending on the package your LR4 has. According to the part number you posted, that is the best headlight that came on these trucks. The ones you purchased are for 2010-2013 models and it's the xenons with the adaptive feature. I would think that the ones on... -

yeah man worst case scenario if you hate the sound then install back. I'd admit its not for everyone. I'm young and appreciate the noise. As i get older i think ill install the resonator/musfflers back on. -

That's my truck. Its pretty loud though i don't think you'd like it. I removed everything but the catalytic converter and put straight pipes with an X pipe. It's sounds very aggressive and pops and crackles when you downshift. For you I'd recommend just removing the muffler and leave everything... -

They sound cheap in person and rust like crazy. Online they sound really decent though but in person not so much. Your best option is to take the resonator out/muffler or both if you want it really loud. it's cheaper and sounds better than the magnaflows. They both drone though. magnaflows drone... -
