Ahh the bloated lithium battery! Lithiums should be stored at 40-50% charge. They will swell and deform if stored at full charge. Wondering why these companies don't advise customers to do so, it just doesn't make much sense for a company that sells LI backup batteries to advertise that. I...- Waterndirt

From what I gather, Zinc Nation's main market is the wrought iron / tubular steel industry. Not trying to speak for them, but I'd say that the 3 year guarantee is mainly driven towards that industry. I've known the folks at Zinc Nation for many years. The process and results are no joke. I believe the process was designed as a cost effective alternative to protect large steel items that can't be galvanized in dipping tanks. We're running 265 60 18 BFG KO's, Wife gets 11 mpg during her 10 mile "city" commute work. I've seen about 20 mpg on some road trips, not bad there.- Waterndirt

Stock Wheels: Keep or Sell?
I've tried selling my 19" stockers which only have 50 miles on them. Received offer for all 5 for $1500 on Craigslist. I was hoping for $2000+. I wasn't in a rush to sell them. Now they sit in my shop. Kinda nice knowing I have a back up set to my Compos.- Waterndirt

My 2015 did the same thing as described by OP. It ended up being a faulty module that controls the system. Fixed under warranty of course. I sure enjoyed the few months of no ECO nor Amber light! 2016 LR4 Intelligent stop/start not working
I had the same thing go wrong with my wife's 2015. ECO not working, no amber warning light. It ended up being a module that controls the ECO system itself. Dealer replaced it, ECO then worked as designed. I can't stand it, its very choppy and disconcerting so I disconnected the auxiliary...- Waterndirt

DIY Oil Change for LR4
Just wanted to share my experience on my first oil change on our 2015 LR4, I bought the MityVac 7300 and boy it could not have been any easier! Sucked it almost dry. Oil was hot and flowed super easy. It sure beats getting out the jack, stands and creeper. Not one drop of oil anywhere...- Waterndirt

Looking for floor jack recommendations
I use a Craftsman 3 ton. Works fine though the max height just barely gets me there. A good sturdy jack for me all around. What the heck is this thing?
Interesting to see what us humans have come up with in the last 100 years. I remember getting under my truck for the first time seeing that damper, trying to figure out what the heck it was. All along thinking it was some fancy braking or body roll sensor. hahah :stupid:- Waterndirt

Thoughts on new forum layout?
For the sake of change I guess its got to happen eventually. Seems like there is more space between forum posts, so the user has to scroll more. Forums for me are about organizing thoughts, when you remove the thought, you're left with blank space.... doesn't jive with me. my .02 cents.- Waterndirt

Never ending TPMS saga
I'm running Compos with 265 65 18s on my 2015. Dealer supplied me with sensors from their shop inventory of take off wheels / left overs. I seem to remember having a few pairing issues when they were first installed. Eventually they took. Maybe give it some more time?- Waterndirt
