Right - things are off. Below are two photos of the engine bay that particular day. We pulled everything out (and eventually even the engine itself in order to clean the oil pan and change the AUX chain and whatnot) so we went really deep in this thing. You mean the level of effort to get to that block (obviously I have the V8), with those head gaskets, with those heads (valves with the camshaft facing side as well as cylinder facing side)?- Land Rover Joe

Increased Performance
The Tactical sliders are great. I have been using them for years and they hold up well, also act as bash guards / sill protectors, look great, and you can even jack from them. Only problem down there (and with all these steel accessories) is the rust....- Land Rover Joe

True - my V8 starts cooling around 190 based upon the readings (and temps) I get from my GAP tool. The sensors rarely read above 200. There are two cooling temp sensors on the truck and I don't think temperature sensing inside the engine itself so I can't say what those temperatures are like...- Land Rover Joe

I like the full size steel bumper. It is heavier and rusts but find it sturdy and I think in that sense an improvement. I have the Kymar but I think that is basically the same as the Tactical 4X4.- Land Rover Joe

In other words, How many miles do you have, are you the first owner (who owned previously), what has been done with the engine and cooling system already, how often do you change the oil, what kind of fuel is used, etc? Increasing approach angle?
FYI - if it helps: my ManTech (OEM) Steering Guard is pretty sharp looking and just fits over the OEM Bumper. Here is a really old, but pretty good (back when the truck was all shiny and still new!) photo which shows the plate quite well over the original plastic (with the OEM bumper and all).- Land Rover Joe

Rear Tail Third Brake Stop Lamp
Tribe, In addition to all the other work to do, I am going to be replacing the "Rear Tail Third Brake Stop Lamp" on my 2010 LR4 HSE (HD). This is the plastic raised tail light above the rear window. Fuel Related Issue at Start Up
Thanks for the update @rubbndubbn ! Awesome the truck is back on the road. How was the HPFP timing off by that much? Did the chain jump or was there some other issue?
