radiator remove and replace 2003-disco
The radiator in the D2 is aluminum with plastic tanks,you cant have it boiled out. The caustic used in boil out tanks eats aluminum quick! low frequecy vibration at 55mph
123 What you describe sounds like a front hub bearing. You are changing the load on the bearing when stearing right/left. I assume the sound comes back after the manuver..- xengineguy

Disco II breather cleaning
breather cleaning Glad to hear it helped ! Everyone should check,esp if they have peskey oil leaks... I also enlarged the hole in the plastic fitting that screws into the intake to 3/16" .This is just a test,it didnt seem to affect the idle at all ... Will keep everyone posted. Mike- xengineguy

Wiring for a trailer on my 97 Disco
You guys might look at valley powered converters,I just installed one tonight on my D2.Will test it tomorrow,the unit I got was rated at 15 amps. Also installed a brake control, Gotta have trailer brakes!!!- xengineguy

Was working on my disco today and I thought I would pass on some of what I found. This disco has been maintained very well. Kenn,forgive me for adding my opinion,But the rad shop guy did try to get you to "bring it in so they could check it" I have been in his position many times,an over the counter guess-ta-ment is always going to be high.Its also known as CYA .It seems the customer only hears the price.
