Anybody else need new tie rods and bushings at 30K miles?
Truck pulling to left or right, steering wheel not on center, loose feeling in steering, steering not "smooth", particularly at slower speeds. -

Agreed. Service guidelines frequently specify disconnecting battery for many procedures. I seriously doubt the shops do it. -

FYI, just got off the phone with dealership. The part comes up as "Chamber Assembly Cover". LR part # JAG500042PMA. List price is $91.29. Offered for $80 plus tax. Service manager indicated they have never replaced one and haven't attributed any water ingress / damage issues to that part... -

Windshield Wiper Motor Removal Remove the plenum chamber panel. Remove the windshield wiper motor and linkage. Remove the 2 bolts. Remove the 2 clips. Disconnect the electrical connector. -

smashed mirror
The glass only (heated) is available at the dealer and various other sources online. I replaced one about 6 months ago which cost me around $70. The heating element in the glass just plugs in to a wire connector inside the mirror housing. Easy DIY. I've seen them on eBay for $60 - $75... -

TPMS threshold PSI question
I had a slow leak in one of my Goodyear HP's for about six months before replacing the set a few weeks ago (Toyo Open Country's). My TPMS warning light came on consistently at around 36-38 psi. I imagine there is an actual setting for this. -

Consider this when looking for a used LR3
Maybe the vehicle never had any kinks. Really, most of them don't. I just had a set of Toyo's put on last week. So far I love them. Slightly harder than the Goodyears but much quieter. I am optomistic about getting 50K+ out of them.
