How difficult is it to replace the hub sensor on the front drivers side on a D2 2000 year? LR recommends replacing the entire hub assembly. Any recommendations?- dandyrover

New BCU but now cant clear codes
After further review, it appears my D2 was struck by lightning while we were on vacation. The car had a bad BCU ( which was replaced) and the codes that wouldn't clear were real codes. They had a "loaner" vehicle that they tested parts with and it appears that it has a bad SRS, ABS and...- dandyrover

Sorry, it has 90000 miles on it. It sat for a week and suddenly wouldn't start. battery was good but nothing worked. I had a D on the dash with a line through it and the red light on the dash from the security system was on. was diagnosed as a bad Body Control unit. Now the fault codes cant...- dandyrover

New BCU but now cant clear codes
I have a 2000 D2 and the BCU went bad. Now I can't clear the Check Engine light and am getting an SRS and transmission fault. Took it to LR dealer and they can't figure it out. Anyone else run into this?- dandyrover

cigarette lighter receptacle not working
Are there any replacement cigarette lighter receptacles that fit the OEM for a 2000Discovery II? I have a hard time spending $36 for an OEM receptacle. also, how does the old one come out?- dandyrover

Oxygen sensors
Getting about 7-9 mpg and have codes that indicate both front and back are bad. 88,500 miles and finding that very little maintenance has been done on it. As far as the O2's, how tight should they be tightened? should there be anything put on the threads for a tight seal?- dandyrover

I have a 2000 Disco II that has a small antifreeze leak near the back of the engine. I can't see where it's coming from but it's dripping onto the drive shaft and then onto the exhaust. It's leaked about a gallon in 2 months. Any ideas?- dandyrover
