How difficult is it to replace the hub sensor on the front drivers side on a D2 2000 year? LR recommends replacing the entire hub assembly. Any recommendations?

You can buy just the sensor, why do you think it needs to be replaced, are your brakes squeaking, at all?

Three Amigos are shining and LR dealer stated the codes indicated a hub sensor.

Yes, but not the hub. You shouldn't be going to the dealer anyway cause they will always sell you more then what is needed at an inflated price.

Standard tools, nothing hard about replacing the sensor. The only decision you will need to make is wether you use the old style sensor and short wire or go to the newer on with a much longer connection that has to be soldiered into the slabs.

I haven't seen any but I have to think that there are some with the sensor.
