The bike rack is an old Thule model. I purchased the updated Thule for 4 bikes. It swings away like the LR model and looks more modern. Look at the Thule Apex swing away. -

Jack Pads
The stock jack on the LR4 may be fine for emergency use but scissor jacks are a pain for basic garage work. I'd like to use a heavy duty rolling floor jack but the frame lifting points are difficult to lock into without using some type of jack pad that fits the indent hole used by the stock... -

The adaptive HIDs for the 2010-2012 models are not that expensive. I wonder if you can retrofit them on the current LUX models with HID? Any thoughts. -

X5 to LR4

question on current LR4 lights option
I have a LUX with HID. They are plenty bright. My wife was following me in it one night and I had to look away from the mirror even with auto dimming. I'm not sure the adaptive would be that much better in most situations. The LUX HIDs are great. -

Wheel Spacers
Has anyone mounted wheel spacers on their LR4 to increase wheel stagger. I'm thinking of 1.5 inches to fill out the wheel wells a bit. Highway use. Don't really expect to do any real off roading. Thanks -

Black and Silver Land Rover Emblems.

Update on my HSE Nav issue..
The simple truth is the dealer took advantage of you. Every dealer can and will run the VIN number prior to taking the vehicle in trade. When they ran the VIN it would have been obvious that the LR4 was a base vehicle not an HSE or LUX. My insurance company ran the VIN of my new 012 LR4 Lux... -

For me it's splitting hairs. The 2012 LR4 i just purchased gets maybe 15 MPG around town. Maybe better but to tell you the truth I don't count. My wife's big RR SC gets 12-14 around town but she only drives 7000 miles a year so who cares!. My 2012 750i probably gets 20-24 mpg which is pretty... -

Does it really matter. It's an LR4 not a Prius. If I was worried about mileage i would ave purchased something different. I like it better than my wife's full size RRSC.
