I have a Land Rover Discovery with 91,000 miles on her. I have no problems really so far with the truck except for two that I can't seeme to get fixed. One being the terrible studder in 4th gear that has been going on for the past 40,000 miles. I have had 3 garages look at it, changed the plugs, run high test in it and nothing works. I did not change the VSS sensor yet because I have no check engine light on and also my cruise control works fine so that must not be it. Any Help???
The next question is if the truck is in 4th gear and I come to a quick stop, it feels like the truck can't downshift quick enough and i hear a clunk and feel a ****. This only occurs when stopping quickly, if I stop normally it does not happen. All these problems only occur in 4th gear and has been a problem for the past 40,000 miles. The tranny otherwise shifts great, very smooth and had the fluid checked 2 weeks ago and it was very clean so i did not have it changed. Any comments please I need help!!!!
