2000 Rr Service Engine Soon

Hello:

I have a 2000 LR RR 4.6 HSE. Does anyone know how to turn off the Service Engine Soon light without taking the truck to the dealer?

On the RR, I am not sure if the SES light is for engine codes or the 84k emisions check.

If it is the engine codes, you can have them read and maybe turned off at your local hardware store for free, or you can buy and OBDII reader.

If the emisions check, I am not sure if it is the same on the RR As the Disco or not, but ifi it is you can try this:

Thanks for your input.

I made an appointment to take my truck into the dealer.

But after one week (that was the soonest that I could get it there) the light went off the day that I was about to take the truck in.

Strange. But either way I'm happy that I saved $100 - not having to pay a diag fee.
