2006 RR No CDL Lock

My friend has a 2006 RR Supercharged. He showed me the 4x4 screen on the Nav. It didn't show the open lock which signifies the Center Diff. Is this an error? All RR came with CDLs that year.

In my 2008 you won't see the lock symbol or have the function work unless the vehicle is in one of the off-road modes. If you select 4wd info in regular road mode the screen shown is all you see

My 2006 has rear diff lock. Did the you put the LR3 in a 4x4 mode via dial at center? When you do, center diff and rear diff should show in green or gray, but should show. Not having rear diff lock this may remain gray... I have here both on forum. But center should turn green when needed and engaged. Looks from pic no terrain type is selected, thus nus no locking symbols appear. When terrain is selected, the diff will turn green on dash showing engaged.... This will only engage if computer deems needed. If never engage and your stuck, likely a problem and should send codes. HAVE A PRO LOOK AT. Make sure correct fluids are in oil, center, and rear diff. This forum saved me from wrong fluids and big money fix.
