OK a buddy's 2016 was pressure tested and is leaking coolant from the thermostat, water pump and front pipes.
I advised him to do pcv valve and vacuum pump while they're at it, and to use metal pipes from Lucky8 where available.
Any other suggestions while they're doing this?

The rear y pipe has already been replaced.

Its really mileage dependent and the V6 differs from the V8 maintenance-wise with some things. At 140k mi I'm doing my serpentine belts when I replace the alternator proactively. Maybe sooner. It just turned 120k miles and I've been offroading it several times a week.

It took a long time to stop thinking about a break down lol. I had a new radiator installed at 97k with the chain work because it leaked but they didn't replace the radiator hoses. I'm doing all Gates brand belts and radiator hoses. Not sure how long the Land Rover radiator hoses are expected to last? With the serpintine belts they can be visually inspected but with Land Rover and coolant hoses its probably a gamble but maybe they don't intentionally defect the upper and lower radiator hoses?

Everything coolant related as far as I’m concerned; since everything is apart. Water pump, pcv valve, coolant bleed screws, upgrad to the solid coupler in the super charger, probably the supercharger oil too, connected from water pump to oil cooler.

Did mine at 60k, then again at 120k

The brass bleed screw is a gem. So easy to prevent massive problems. These rigs are high value still to this day. Everyone likes Land Rovers. There was a recent Land Rover publicity stunt video where a guy in a RRS climbed up a super steep stair case of some sort in a far away land. They played it up but it looked like a 45 degree super long climb with safety cables to catch the vehicle from falling.

I'd like to see in in person to get a more realistic view, but the truth is you could do the same stunt in an LR4 as long as the coolant system is in good shape. I think they were selling some $100k+ rig, the hybrid whatever. With the hybrids future owners will have more expenses in maintenance I'll bet. The non-hybrid gassers and diesels ftw.
