Thanks Duckdive! Those wires indeed go to the height sensor. I was thinking that the rubbing was at the connector, not at the wire bundle itself. Now I will be able to take another look....

There are two ivory "T" clips holding the wire bundle one "upsidedown T" clip just below the sensor plug - I will try to free that clip from the bundle , turn it 180 to proper"T" position retape it to the bundle- this will bring the bundle to the just below the plug hight.
The second clip is where the "bolted plate" on the picture this will have to go unless I would manage to add something to it to extend it high enough to place the bundle on the top of the frame or just drill the bracket and use wire ties....well that is my plan..will see

I might not do anything. I'm running the 275/65R18 MT/Rs now and not the wider Coopers. That might put me in the clear...I might first check for evidence that there is a problem...maybe some paint on the wire bundle to see if it gets rubbed off after a drive.

These pics seem to match my experience. In my case I had the suspension fault warning come on although the suspension would air up and down ok - at least for the time between me driving 200 miles home and then dropping by the dealer the next morning. To be honest once I got the fault I left the suspension at normal height and figured that it would be better to leave well alone until it was looked at. IIRC I was getting the slow rising warnings or similar ... it was a while ago ...

I'm getting my front under body plate fitted sometime this week so I'll get the guys to open everything up so I can recheck my arches again since I'm packing new rubber.

Houm, my wire bundles were torn up pretty good with my moderately aggresive
Open Countrys. I can only imagine what those MTR's would do. Speaking of your
MTR's could you give us a follow up on how those are working out for you?
Maybe on one of the tire threads? Thanks

DD
