I'm ready for a 30,000 mile service on a 2001 disco. The dealer wants $570 to do the service. I have a warranty to 50,000 miles, so I do want to be careful to follow all maintenance requirements. But, looking at the requirements for that service in the owner's manual, I can't for the life of me figure out what they are going to do that should cost that much. To me it looks like a lot of "inspections" and two or three fluid changes. Is this reasonable? Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
