So...I got a really good deal on a spytec a119s for a rear dash cam and it runs on a 5v. Looking for a cord to splice to in the lift gate in the back....any suggestions?

I actually installed a rear cam. I'll take pics and post later tonight of wiring I spliced. Very easy install.

I ended up just taking a 12v cigarette port extension and hard wired to the 12v port in the trunk. Worked like a charm. The AA19s comes with a 12v-5v converter so it all worked out. Everything is nice and hidden, can't tell that anything was done.
