'92 Classic Door Handle

Hi,

My drivers' side exterior front door handle broke and I cannot seem to find one. Can I remove the rear one and use that/ Only the silver metal part broke.

Has anyone ever tried to weld one or heliarc it as I think it's aluminum. It broke horizontally

What other options do I have?

not sure about swapping or weld/tig one.. but I am sure it can be done.

Thanks Joey.. Somewhere on the net I put in a request and I am getting emails from salvage yards all over the US that have one. If none of them work I'll get in contact with him. I saved his page in my favs for future reference too.

I also read that a Lotus Esprit handle is the same and located a set of those.. kind of expensive but they do look the same. I'll make sure before I buy them..

at least I am finding a few.

I am pretty sure the Lotus handles are off of another car, but it could have been the Rover car...
