I had the bright idea to wash the engine of my 1997 4.0 lt this morning at the spray wash. After that it wouldn't start. The engine cranks fine, but it won't turn over. I've let it dry for over 12 hrs (100 degrees here in Arizona) but it still won't pop. I've checked all the fuses under the hood and in the fuse box and they appear OK. Could I have shorted something out? Is there a reset button or something I am not aware of? Is it a ignition problem? Any ideas? All suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
Scott

Crank position sensor, or possible coil pack. This is just a guess, since you don't say much about the vehicle history, mileage, last tune up. It may have been just a fluke, it may even be a bad fuel pump... Do you hear the fuel pump start when you turn the key on? Have someone in the trunk area listen when you turn the key on.
