looking into buying a 97 discovery SE V8I and have a few questions before i make purchase.

117000 mi 1. was underneath cleaning A/C drain Plug and on bottom of transmission case there looks to be a thin plate missing maybe 2-3 in diameter that is held on by 3 screws can see inside transmission. is this a problem should the plate be there. can e-mail picture of item

2. when should the timing chain be replaced

3 moving from Florida 20ft sea level to Colorado 6000 ft what should be done to engine when i move out there will be shipped not driven but do i need to adjust the air ratio intake if so is it something i can do or do i need to take to dealership

4. anything else i need to look for

If you can see inside the transmission... don't buy it simple.

Timing chain... I would change when you can the cam. depending on use and proper maintenance anywhere from 140k to 300k miles

Noting needs to be done when moving to Colorado, it self adjusts.
