Hi everyone. I have a 99 Disco Series II, that has recently been overheating and losing antifreeze. I am putting antifreeze in every few days. I can find no apparent leaks, however the is some white steam. It looks to be coming from the bottom passenger side of the engine while running. It is a small amount, not like steam from overheating and running in the red. Can anyone please help me with this? I am at a loss and I am trying to avoid taking it to LR. Thanks!

Have you checked all your hoses? when is the last time you changed them?

Could be anything from a bad or leaking hose connection to a slipped liner, to a head gasket.

Thanks Joey.
I have a friend that thinks its a radiator hose and is going to check it. I hope that's all it is because I just started having problems with my starter and need to replace that as well.

If your starter issues are just slow starts, make sure you have your battery checked first. they can last as short as 4 years in a Rover.
