99 discovery 2 interior light faults

Hi there i am new to the forum wondered if anyone can help, i have a 99 disco 2 td5 and none of the interior lights work when the doors open but all work off there own switches. its getting anoying and the kids are moaning and no father needs that lol .PLEASE help!!

Sounds like the door switches are stuck or bad.

hey Joey thanks for reply i have just put a seperate earth to the front lights and all came on is there a common earth block somewhere that could be corroded

LOL, Common earth on a Rover..... Now you are being funny.... Download the rave CD in my Signature.... it is the repair manual.. you will find 30 + earth connections on your Rover.

Hey Joey have downloaded the rave but cant get nothing out of it, has anyone got a idea where the earth is for the interior lights please

Ok, I did take a look... not sure if it is for the interior lights or not, but you have an earth near the steering wheel under the dash that is a common earth for many things...
