abs light

Hi. Got a question. When I startup the 2000 RR the ABS Light comes on and stays on until I begin to move forward then it goes out. I was told this was normal-is it? Thanks

Yes the ABS in the Land Rovers are in Test mode until around 5mph, then if all is good the light will go off until the vehicle is restarted.
