Anyone had success installing an after-market stereo in a Disco-II and maintaining the steering wheel functionality?

I'm resigned that I'd like a disco better than a Rover, so now I'm hunting down a 2001-2003 Series II, and I KNOW this is the first thing I'm going to want to change. (To add a navigation system...not for stuffing a bunch of speakers in the thing....not that there is anything wrong with that...)

Any help is appreciated...

Doug, I can't remember the site now, but there is an adapter out there that will allow you to change the stereo and keep the controls.... But since I don't hardly listen to the radio I didn't say that info.... I may have read it on discoweb though.... do a search.

I saw that in another thread here, but was looking to see if someone here had any experience with it.

I guess I should have been more direct with my question.
