Alternator wire connection

On my 2011 LR4, it came up with a Charging System Fault while driving. I replaced the alternator and am still getting the same error on the dash. It is showing the battery is only receiving 13.5V. Knowing this isn’t enough. Currently thinking we have a bad connection somewhere. Here is my question…where does the blue wire with the brown trace on the back of the alternator go to?

It sounds like the alternator installed isn't working as well as you had hoped. How many miles did you have on the original?

Check for a broken fuse link at the battery positive terminal.
Single wire bolted on the terminal.
