Automatic Door Lock Problems

When I push down the driver side door lock all the locks lock as they are supposed to, but when I shut the door they all unlock. Also if locking from the passenger side, if I lock the door and shut it, it re-opens as well. Any ideas as to what this could be? Possible re-soldering?

It is designed that way. It is so you won't lock your keys in by accident..

The locks are designed so you won't lock your keys in. If you push the lock mechanism down manually, it will pop back up. Sounds like you don't have remotes. If you don't you should get a get a pair. Without the remote, you can only lock the car with a key, and only from the driver's side door. Try keylessride.com and pick up a couple of remotes for way less than what the dealer is charging.
