Baby seats in third row

Anyone know if the third row of seats can accomdate baby car seats? Thanks!

I put my older son in a booster seat back there from time to time. It fits nicely, and he really enjoys it.

But to me, a baby seat is a bit different. While it does physically FIT, there is no LATCH system in the rear two seats. [Nor, annoyingly, is there a proper one in the middle seat of the 2d row, I might point out.] So the baby seat is not as tightly fixed as I would like. Further, it is a bit tricky to buckle/unbuckle a baby in a car seat back there.

My wife has actually forbidden the practice because she can't see the baby very well back there; nor does she feel that she quickly could get to the baby in an emergency.

Just my thoughts.

always wondered why the LR3s don't have LATCH while the Range Rovers do. You would think the LR3 is more family oriented than the RR. Or was Land Rover just being cheap...

My 2005 LR3 SE7 has LATCH on the two outside seats in the middle row.

The middle seat in the middle row has the latch on the back of the seat, BUT no lower clips. And, if you use the clips on the side seats for a baby seat in the middle and you forget and try to put down one of the side seats, CRACK!!!!

My daughter's baby seat fits just fine in the 3rd row (she actually likes it back there more than 2nd row). Had to do that couple times when it was easier for my little girl to get back there than for older passengers. It's just a bit trouble to have to climb back there to buckle her up. But from a safety point of view, I feel much better putting her in the 2nd row.
