Battery Warning Light Illuminated when i first start up the car.
Battery Warning Light extinguishes after driving for a few minutes.
Also, the radio does not work until the Battery Warning Light extinguishes.
The Battery is almost 3 years old.

Any suggestions?
Hate to go the dealership as they always find something wrong that needs to get fixed. I am hoping it is a simple fix like buying a new battery.

Sounds like either the battery is bad (probably not) or you have some corrosion somewhere (possible) or the alternator is going bad (possible).

Go to you local auto parts store and have them test it for free
