I don't think I have those options on the steering wheel, so let me ask this why is the radio numbers set up like a phone?

See my post above about 2005 LR3's and BT.

Land Rover designed the keypad interface for radio/phone controls knowing that BT was coming. It was just delayed availability.

My '05 HSE does not have BT, it does not have the switches on the steering wheel, and displays "no phone fitted" if you try to select it.
