I have a 2000 Disco in the shop and the brake calipers on the passenger side - front and rear are seized. Oddly enough the braking of the vehicle was fine. One of the pads on each set are worn thin with the other one with lots of wear left. The rotors still have some room to be machined.

Why would the calipers on just one side of the vehicle seize? Are there any servicible parts in the calipers - pistons seals etc??

Thanks in advance.

Not sure on the seizing of the calipers (anything can happen)... but for you safety sake, don't have the rotors machined.... buy new ones. The normally will not meet specs if turned.
