Greetings,

I am a new, proud owner of a 2003 Disco II SE7 and I'm loving it!

I also already had the pleasure of taking it off roading, once in Azusa Canyon (near Los Angeles) and Prarie City (near Sacramento).

But here is my question:

Over the long week-end, I tried to take the brush guard off and the bolt that seems to hold it in place just keeps on spinning. I tried to look behind it but couldn't locate the nut to counter the spinning.

Anybody know how to get it off and if so, is it going to be a "big" job?

Thanks in advance.

It's a pain in the asset to get to. Just stick your hand up behind where the brush guard is attached (from under neath) and feel around as you turn the bolt from the front. It is best to use a box wrench that has a swiveling head to hold the nut. It will take a while to find the ends ... drivers side is easier than the passanger side.

Good Luck!!
