CD Player..losing memory....why?

if the Rover is turned off for 10 mins or more and I re-crank it......the CD reverts back to the first trac, as opposed to remembering what was playing before I killed the ignition. this is very frustrating when im in the middle of a 15 min Phish jam and I have to start over from the beginning. id lol but its not funny.

I just got a new battery a few months back, bc of a memory issue with the trip mileage....so im guessing its not a battery problem. I notice when I crank it up, it shows the track that was previously playing for an instant....then it says, "phone not attached", or something like that....and reverts to trac 1.

hey, I know it seems like a minor problem and I hope that's as bad a problem as I ever have, but figured id ask and see if anyone has an idea of the issue? I love my '09 LR9# btw! had it about a year and a half.

well....I disconnected the battery cables for 15 minutes and that seemed to do the trick.
