Hello Guys and Gals

I just bought an 06 RR HSE, i put a set of 22" rims and went on a trip to Minnesota. We got in late that night and were driving on some back street. The road had work done and half the road was missing, I believe there were manhole covers sticking up. We hit the covers doing roughly 20 mph or so and it totally destroyed both left side rims. I got it fixed at a local shop there, but they said it came in with the brake light red and the infodash saying check brake pads. My question is if i happened to cut the pads sensor wire in the accident would that throw these two lights on the dash on?

Thank you
Jay

PS i have pics i will post later.

I would say that is highly possible, or the impact warped the rotors causing the code.
