:hello:Hi everyone, new to this site and driving a 2.5 DTSE (I think) 01 range rover. There's a strange hissing noise coming from the right hand side when driving. It's inconsistant, no warning n the electronics that anything is wrong and doesn't feel or sound like the air suspension. Indeed there is no lowering of any part of my poor jeep!
I'm meant to be towing a loaded horse box for 6 hours tomorrow and my mechanic can't squeeze her in today. Any thoughts.
This has been going on for about a week at this stage.
Many thanks,
Chris

Hello and welcome,
Sounds like an exhaust leak? Please don't refer to RR as a jeep. You may get a lot of crap for that.

excaust or if you have ABS on that side of the pond, it could be the ABS pump.
