CODES Question

Hello Guys
I have a question about my 2000 Disco
some codes came up,and 1 of them I cant find listed.
PO 304 misfire clyinder 4
PO 300 misfire multiple cylinder
and the on I cant find listed is P 1319
I hope its just spark plug wires.

300 is a misfire.
How many miles on your truck, has it ever been tuned along with new 8 mm silicone wires? Sounds like you are behind on having a major service done.
Have you also rebuilt or replaced your front drive shaft to prevent it from failing and out your tranny?

Mike the wires were replaced 3 - 4 years ago but not with the 8 mm
the code in question is P 1319
any ideas?

1319 is a misfire generated while on low fuel, do you drive under 1/4 tank, if so stop it before you burn up your fuel pump.
What color and or brand are your wires?

I replaced them with factory wires,I just picked #4 wire up today waiting for it to cool before I plug that one in,as far as running below a .25 of tank of fuel,yes the wife never keeps it above empty.

Seriously, let her know she will be paying a shop $500 when that pump fails and it should come out of her money. Bet she doesn't run premium in it either.
As for the wires, factory wires have always been know to be junk.
You need 8 mm silicone wires like STI's or Magnecor's.

Mike I make sure that she does run super in it.I will have to get some magnacores for it ,but I noticed another problem with it today,coolant leaking from about the steering box area.I dont know if it is the front cover or head gasket.they were both done last year and it is still under that warranty,I have to call the dealer monday morning.I just hope all is not a big problem.[/B]

Well got the disco into the shop,it turned out to be the mas air flow sensor
no bad wires or fuel pump isues. thought it might be something more serious.

I don't buy a new MAF fixing your 3 codes. MAF's will not cause a specific or 1319 code so something will come up again in the future.
