Hello all,

Glad to be here. I just purchased a 2003 Disco. II SE (19,000 1 owner miles) and I'm pretty excited about picking it up in the next few days. I'm in the accessory purchasing frenzy mode right now and I picked up a cold air induction system that was on sale from a dealer. It's basically a 3" pipe with a K&N cone filter on the end of it. Anyone here had expreience with this part and if so how has your experience been with it?

Thanks everyone,

Robbie

I have basically the same thing on my '97 D1... it looks good, but I can't say alot about the performance factor, of course I also have headers installed.... maybe with an ECU rechip I would notice more....

The big thing is if you do any offroading, get the water resistant cover or you may not run long.

Thanks Joey,

Was the installation easy, is it something you can do yourself? Also I am interested in purchasing an aftermarket interior wood kit any recommendations as far as a company is concerned?

Install was very easy.... I would say on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the hardest, this was a 3 (only because you did have to use tools :)

www.roverguy.com I beleive he custom makes a wood kit for you.

Joey is right about the cold intake offroading. I would suggest removing it if you go offroading. I honestly cant tell of any difference it makes but it looks good.

Make sure it isn't too oily cause you can have problems with the air flow sensors. Good luck
