I just noticed also that the plastic screw on the upper radiator hose has snapped off... minor leak coming out from around the threads. What is the purpose of this thing, and is there anything that I can use (metal screw) that will safely plug it?

Get in touch with John Lee at Expedition Exchange, he has a solid brass replacement for the radiator plug that also works well for a replacement for the plastic diff filler plugs.

Well, I've removed the bonnet and the air intake hose and the upper intake manifold. I noticed that whatever shop she had the work done last time didn't put all four coil bolts on... just the two center ones, hopefully there not essential for a good ground. Another reason I hate letting people work on my stuff.
Anyway there's a small pool of fluid in the back where the fuel line hits the fuel rail. I assume that's where the lower intake gasket is leaking.
This is more tiresome than I thought it would be, I'm accustomed to working on the cavernous spaces inside an American truck.

As a side question, has anyone ever used a dremel to polish up the intake manifold... It'd look sweet highly polished..... Would it do me any good to do the inside or is that a waste of time without changing the chip, heads, headers, and exhaust??

Almost forgot... On the inlet plenum where the breather hose connects, that fitting was loose.. could that cause a manifold leak that would set of the MIL?

Wow, what a Pain in the rear. I should be done tommorow. Just need to put coolant and pwr steering fluid in. I couldn't find a socket anywhere for the rocker cover bolts, and my 13mm wrench wouldn't fit on the intake side since I didn't remove the fuel rail so I ended up torching the wrench until it bent 90degrees so I could loosen the bolts...
