Well, I've removed the bonnet and the air intake hose and the upper intake manifold. I noticed that whatever shop she had the work done last time didn't put all four coil bolts on... just the two center ones, hopefully there not essential for a good ground. Another reason I hate letting people work on my stuff.
Anyway there's a small pool of fluid in the back where the fuel line hits the fuel rail. I assume that's where the lower intake gasket is leaking.
This is more tiresome than I thought it would be, I'm accustomed to working on the cavernous spaces inside an American truck.
As a side question, has anyone ever used a dremel to polish up the intake manifold... It'd look sweet highly polished..... Would it do me any good to do the inside or is that a waste of time without changing the chip, heads, headers, and exhaust??
