Engine light & Cruise issues on 2000 Disco II

Greetings All,
I recently purchased a 2000 Disco II.
Recently the SES light came on - will have that checked this week at local AZone.
My cruise does not work - dash button lights up, but it does not engage. ANY IDEAS ON A FIX?????
I'll be chaging rotors & pads this weekend - all 4 wheels.

How do you reset SES light???

for the cruise check the hoses the hose on my 98 was cracked and loosing vacuum, I just did my brakes a few weeks ago and the front calipers were quad piston and the rear were duel piston so be ready. But it was not hard to replace but I should of replaced the rotors or turned them now there is noise come from them.

Engine Light Codes

Thanks for the response on the cruise.

I had the Service Engine Light codes read today on my 2000 Disco II.
P0455 EVAP Emission Control System - Leak (Large) / Checked gas cap....Any ideas on what else to check??????
P0420 Catalyst Efficiency below threshold - Bank 1 (Tune-Up ?????)
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would just check all vacuum, second one may be an O2 sensor

Bank 1 = passenger side ?????

Bank 1 is usually before the cat. but I don't know which side.

Bank one is drivers side...

Sounds more like the MAF sensor needs a good cleaning...

Cruise is probably a vacuum leak
