has anybody ever installed on of those chips that increase your horsepowerl from ebay. i got one and it was like $30.00. i wanted to know if they will harm the engine even though it says it wont. i think it hooks up to the airflow sensor or something. should i install it or not?

Anything that claims to add horsepower at $30 is a scam.... sorry. A chip for a LR that works is around $499 if I recall correctly and a good one is almost twice that.

To get real hp increases, you need to rework the engine completly.

Sorry, but you wasted $30 and no I would not install it unless you want to spend alot of money fixing you vehicle after it tears something up.
