Disco Fuel Mileage?

Hi guys. This is my first post. I have been looking at Discovery's for a few years, kicking around the idea of replacing my half ton truck with one. Well, my truck got totaled last week and so now I'm really considering a Disco.

I know that they're not known for their mileage, but I see figures online that are pretty spread out. I was wanting to get some real world figures just to know. I'm used to poor gas mileage as my truck would get 16 with a tail wind on the highway and 12-14 around town. So just wanting to see if it's going to be about the same or what.

I'm looking at a 2003 SE7 with 112,000 miles. It's very clean and has been well taken care of.

It all depends on how you drive and the quality of fuel used. I would average 16 in my Disco, but I have gotten up to 20mpg on the highway before...

Yeah with having the kind of truck I've driven for the last 10 years, I definitely know that it depends greatly on how you drive it. But, if you've been able to average 16 and get 20 sometimes on the highway, that will be a step up for me. Thanks Joey!
