Well, the oil pan bolt / plug has stripped the alloy in my 2002 Disco II pan. I'm thinking I'll need to go the next size bigger in bolt size and thread to rethread a new bolt in there. She's leaking a bit now, but it's getting progressively worse. I looked in my Disco II CD garage manual, but no sizes provided.
Can one of you good folks tell me what the stock 02 Disco oil pan bolt is? I know I use a 15mm wrench so do I look for a 16mm with similar thread? I think the thread is 1.5. What are the official measures of the stock bolt and what size up should I use next?
