Just joined forum to ask a few questions. Looking to purchase a Discovery as a 2nd vehicle for my wife. Just wondering if there is a model year I should stay away from? Looking at the used market it make reference of "The new and improved discovery". I'm looking for a reliable 4x4 to put 10-15K (Km's) per year. As our climate in Eastern Canada is forever changing, I wanted something sporty yet able to tackle whatever mother nature throws our way.

Any info would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum... depending on how much you want to spend. If it were my money I would find a low mileage 2004 Disco or even a newer model. It really depends on your budget.
