Does RR alarm "chirp"?

Hi,

I have a 2006 RR. Just wondering if the alarm system on the RR can "chirp" when activated? I know the lights flash to indicate the activation or deactivation, however, I'd prefer that to hear it as well. I thought it might the programmable feature like the bimmers that I have,however, the dealer said there is no such function, is it true?

Well to hear it on the p38 you just have to lock yourself in the car using the remote then try to unlock it from the inside w/out the remote. That way you can at least hear it.
