Expensive Power Steering Flush!

Just had the 60,000 mile service on my 04 Disco II. Service dept recommended they flush my power steering system and install new fluid at $225. Also said the fluid alone costs $115. This sounds outrageous! Is this for real? Do they use cognac? I am holding up on this service until I can investigate it further.

Welcome to the forum... you can do it yourself for about $20 but hey I just love working on my rover... some people like others working on it for them.
