I thought some of us might share some of our favorite voice commands. Obviously, the phone/bluetooth commands are great. Frankly, I didn't realize the extent one could instruct the nav via voice command.

"POI off" - I love using the nav to find nearby restaurants or gas stations, but I always forget how to turn the POIs off. So now we just use the "POI off" command and it works great.

I don't use the voice commands at all...so please...add to this thread, tell me what I'm missing! (I have found that it takes longer to speak it to the NAV than to just reach out and hit a button). But prove me wrong! I'd hate to be missing out on a useful feature...

"POI off" sounds like a good one as it would take several button presses to achieve.

You're missing out IMHO. Voice commands in the Bluetooth PTI in my '07 HSE works flawlessly with my Apple iPhone.

Ahhh, I have an '05 which did not have the Bluetooth integration working. I suspect for phone I may have used it more.

What else ya got? :)

Whenever I get lost, I use "Navigation, go home" as I have home saved

How about the command "Record Notepad," which allows you to save voice reminders and play them back as you wish?

That is a good one - very cool when I see someone doing something unusual so I grab their license plate. The last time I did it, I saw some guy pull up and hook up to one of those police speed signs that they sit around showing you your speed. He was just in a random Ford Ranger - so I took down his license plate. He must have been OK since it never showed up in the paper.
