I don't know if this is the correct place to post this , I am on the fence on which RR suits me best, I have been a Volvo person, My XC90 V8 4.4 was recently totaled by someone making a wrong u-turn.

Anyways my question is this I looked at the Range Rover Evoque and the issue I see with it is that it uses Haldex for its 4x4 which is really AWD, I like the cute cheekiness, I live just out side of Chicagoland, our drive-way is about 1/4 of a mile long and its up a hill, when theres snow most people get stuck on it. In the snow its icy and in the spring its so muddy and rut-ish.

I had a Ford Explorer with terrain response, very impressive, but I think it uses 4WD, Has anyone had any experience with the Evoque's Haldex AWD ?in the snow and off road ?

I also am interested in the Range Rover Sport, I think its more off-road capable but its not that great on gas, which is okay because I had the Volvo/nobel Yamaha 4.4 V8, Im used to pigs at the gas station. My question is this I like the keyless entry the one where you touch the door handle and it unlocks, and has bluetooth phone and streaming music, what year did Land Rover introduce these capabilities ?

I think the RR sport is more of what I'm looking for but from a price point the Evoque is really cool ,and comes with many of the tech features I am looking for.

What are your thoughts ? !!Thank you for taking the time to read this !!!
