For all you Iphone owners, have you seen the Clinometer App? Pretty awesome tool for a buck. (Also helps you hang pictures level)

Been using it for a while now in my day job (architecture - I do a lot of site visits) I really like the horizontal bubble level aspect of it.

For off roading, I also found the "Pocket Aid" first aid step by step application to be a nice resource as well.

Can you do that with the ipod touch?

Of course! As long as it does not require GPS/Cell tower location fixes, you can use the iTouch for any of these apps. You may need Wi-Fi for some of them, but not for the two listed above.

Two more apps

Resurrecting an old thread here..

I found a few vehicle-specific clinometers on accident just now.. I purchased a couple of the nicer looking ones:

The black and green one is named "Vehicle Clinometer / Tilt meter" and the gray and red one is named "LandMeter." The former is $1.99 and I think the former has some of the cooler features (GPS, customizable warnings + alarms, compass). The latter is $0.99 and looks nicer (except for the Geo Tracker ;)); it basically just shows the angles and has customizable alarms.

I'll post some feedback when it arrives and I try it out.
