Hello all,
So recently, I started noticing a gas smell coming from the truck. I didn't think too much of it as I have an exhaust system and cut out the main muffler on the truck. However, it started getting much worse, almost unbearable. I checked under and noticed that the upper plastic tank cover (I believe that's what it was) was cracked. I immediately brought it into a local mechanic where he had checked under and said it had severe leaking, and notified me to buy a new fuel tank and fuel pump. So now, I've left the truck at the mechanic and currently looking for a new fuel tank and fuel pump. Does anyone here recommend where I can purchase these? I want to try to avoid going to the dealership as much as possible because those prices are just insane.
