Gearbox Fault!

I got a Gearbox Fault warning while shifting to D. Transmission had erratic shifting. Scanned it and got the following TCM error.

P081C-64 (6D) Park input circuit

Anyone want to guess what the 10 cent fix was and the root cause?

The shift lock sensor.

Fuse 57 - Interior Lamps

LED bulb died and popped the fuse. For some crazy reason the TCM is on the same circuit.

That's a great idea. How would something like that be organized for max utility? Cross-indexed by fault codes and common symptoms and keywords, I suppose?

Yes...codes with possible solutions. Major component categories, etc. We could basically build our own DIY maintenance database and cross reference for the things that aren't well documented. (Maybe we could stop arguing about tires (tyres) too)
