This is my 1st Landrover..single Mom with too many teenagers and not enough $

I bought an 03 Discovery with 105,000 miles on it. I love how utilitarian it looks, and I have had a Ford expedition..the views are wonderful..so much light! I am happy with it, it has some issues, and wondered how to find a mechanic would would be competent and not mega $$ to work on it?

-It leaks ..inside near passenger visor
-power window on front pass not working
-loads of codes come one sometimes (brake,downhill,abs and tc..i think)
-need another key
-want car checked over..i drive about 90 miles a day

also ..I had really wanted to find one with the extra seats in back..mine doesnt have them..is it feasible to add them?

Welcome to the forum.

Leaks... probably sunroof drains leaking Can be a do it yourself thing.

window not working could be a switch... swap switches between front windows and see if it works.

Another Key sadly that is expensive about $130 for the key and then paying Land Rover to program it.

Code could be anything from dirty ABS sensors, to the ABS modulator needing grounded properly to expensive parts.

I sadly don't know anyone in Florida that works on Rovers...

Extra Seats, I don't think that can be done on the D2's i.e. your model year of Rover.
